The Hanvon M10C smart office notebook device has officially been launched in China. The notebook featuring a 10.3-inch Kaleido 3 color e-paper display happens to be the first color E Ink tablet device from Hanvon. The display offers 300 PPI and 150 PPI B/W and color resolution, respectively.
The screen has also been accorded the German TUV Rheinland Paper-like certification for its eye-friendly attribute and has secured a paper-like index of 86. The display also benefits from a warm and cold dual-color temperature front light feature that ensures comfortable reading in both bright and dark conditions.
There is also Hanvon’s own hColor + color enhancement algorithm, color mixing technology at work that ensures optimized color saturation and contrast of the e-paper display. Additionally, the hRegal + efficiency-enhancing and anti-residual image technology, together with the hRapid + high-frame fast refresh technology, allows for a seamless viewing experience. It offers five refresh modes depending on the content being viewed.
For PDF documents, the M10C offers optimization features such as watermark bleaching along with enhanced sharpening. This is based on the company’s own OCR typesetting technology that offers free unlimited re-layout solutions for editing PDF or scanned documents. For scanning documents, the device comes with an 8 MP camera that supports A4 and A3-sized formats at 300 PPI and 150 PPI, respectively.
The M10C is accompanied by the B6 pen, which offers 8192 levels of pressure sensitivity. The pen is made from aviation-grade aluminum alloy and manufactured using upgraded CNC precision machining (CNC) technology that offers a robust yet premium build quality. You have 6 pen types to choose from, including ballpoint pen, brush, marker pen, and such. There are varying line-width adjustments and supports up to 14 colors.
The M10C also comes with Mountain series office software and hardware configuration, and a self-developed AI assistant. The built-in AI feature that is based on Hanvon’s own Tiandi big model can accomplish various tasks such as creating meeting minutes, summaries, creating content, voice recognition, speech editing, and so on. Users can also take advantage of the DeepSeek and Tongyi Qianwen-QWQ-32B models, which combine AI Q&A and answer user queries.
The M10C also comes with an 8-microphone array that is capable of accurate speech collection even in a large and noisy environment. It can recognize 10 foreign languages and supports translation to 12 languages. It runs Android 14 and features an octa-core processor. There is 4 GB of RAM onboard along with 128 GB of storage. Power comes from a 6500 mAh battery, which should last several weeks comfortably.
Wireless connectivity the M10C supports includes Wi-Fi (2.4GHz + 5GHz) and Bluetooth 5.0. It comes with a gravity sensor and a digital intelligent speaker. It measures 197.35 x 232.5 x 5.8 mm and weighs 430 grams.
