PocketBook Era Color E-Reader Now Available Online

Here finally is the news that you perhaps have been waiting for. The PocketBook Era Color e-reader has hit the shelves after a month of it being unveiled. Here finally is your chance to snag this 7-inch color e-reader device for $259.99, though you will have to pay the price in full to secure your order. The company has also put up a countdown timer on its online shopping site where it is showing the pre-orders are going to be accepted for 27 more days.

Shipping charges are to be paid extra and are dependent on the location where you want the device to be shipped. That also will determine how long it is going to take for the unit to be shipped though it should typically take around a week or two for deliveries in the US.

Coming to its specs, the PocketBook Era Color happens to be the colorful sibling of the PocketBook Era that the company launched back in the summer of 2022. It sports a vibrant 7-inch Kaleido 3 display having 300 PPI and 150 PPI black and white and color resolutions respectively. The display also benefits from the company’s SMARTlight features that allow for warm and cool independent controls to ensure optimum reading experience irrespective of the ambient lighting condition.

The Era Color also supports a wide range of e-book formats, including comic book formats like CBR and CBZ, and even AZW and AZW3 Kindle formats as long as they are not locked by copyright. Under the hood lies a quad-core processor and a generous 32 GB of storage. It supports dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.4 wireless connectivity. The e-reader is also IPX8 rated for water protection, something that enabled it to survive being submerged under 2 meters of water for up to an hour.

All this is packed into a lightweight device, weighing just 235 grams. So, if you have been looking for a handy e-reader device that is also versatile and durable, the PocketBook Era Color might just be your perfect match.
