In a surprising move, Hanvon has unveiled its latest E Ink device, the Hanvon C10 e-note. The company had earlier announced they would be launching the Clear 6 e-reader but the C10 e-note device took everyone by surprise. Available for pre-sale exclusively on JD, the C10 offers compelling features and functionalities tailored for note-taking enthusiasts. Priced at 1,999 yuan (approximately USD 277.73), the device is currently limited to the Chinese market.
At the heart of the C10 is a 9.7-inch E Ink display that has a resolution of 1200 x 825 pixels. Hanvon said the display boasts exceptional clarity, something that has been achieved by doing away with the light guide plate and capacitive screen layers. This has also led to enhanced screen transparency while ensuring a comfortable viewing experience with no blue light emission or flickering. Running on Android 11, the Hanvon C10 promises a seamless user experience, combining powerful performance with intuitive functionality.
Powering the device is a 1.8 GHz quad-core processor, coupled with 4 GB of memory and 64 GB of storage. With a 3500 mAh battery onboard, the C10 offers extended usage times, promising several days of uninterrupted operation. The E Ink tablet also comes bundled with its proprietary electromagnetic stylus that offers 4096 levels of pressure sensitivity. The stylus also does not need to be charged separately. Weighing just 345 grams, the e-note is lightweight and portable, ideal for on-the-go productivity.
Stay tuned for further developments.
