Onyx Boox Unveils Leaf 3C with Stunning 7-inch Kaleido 3 Display

Expanding its e-reader lineup, Onyx Boox has introduced the Leaf 3C, featuring a vibrant 7-inch color e-paper display. This latest offering boasts the innovative Kaleido 3 display technology, housed within a sleek design reminiscent of the Kindle Oasis.

The Leaf 3C’s display is framed by slim bezels on three sides, enhancing the immersive reading experience. However, the left bezel stands out with its thicker profile, housing convenient page-turning buttons for easy navigation.

Under the hood, the Leaf 3C packs a punch with an 8-core Qualcomm processor, 4 GB of LPDDR4X memory, and 64 GB of EMMC 5.1 storage, expandable up to a whopping 1TB. Powered by the open Android 11 OS, users have the flexibility to install third-party software to tailor their reading experience.

Pre-installed with NeoReader, based on Android 11, the Leaf 3C supports a wide range of document formats and facilitates seamless file transfers. Equipped with a 2300mAh battery, the device offers an impressive standby time of 20 days and a battery life of 40, ensuring uninterrupted reading enjoyment.

Additional features of the Leaf 3C include a highly sensitive microphone, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity. With dimensions of 156 x 137 x 6mm and weighing just 190 grams, the device strikes the perfect balance between portability and functionality. The inclusion of a Type-C port enables convenient wired connectivity and device charging.

While the Onyx Boox Leaf 3C is currently available exclusively in China, offering support for Chinese Simplified, Chinese Traditional, and English languages, it does not provide access to the Google Play store. Despite its limited availability, the Leaf 3C promises to redefine the e-reading experience with its cutting-edge display technology and powerful performance.
