The new Kindle Scribe is back on sale. Amazon is offering the 16 GB version of the Kindle Scribe for 25 percent less. This has brought its price down to $299.99, down from its list price of $399.99. That makes for a substantial saving of $100. This is the lowest the Kindle E Ink tablet has ever sold for.
You can save another $40 if you opt to buy a pair of the Scribe tablets. Additionally, there is a 20 percent saving to be made via trade-in. The 32 GB and 64 GB versions of the Scribe are priced $319.99 and $349.99, respectively. The discount remains consistent at $100 for each version of the Scribe. Color options include Tungsten and Metallic Jade.
As already stated, the deal includes the 16 GB version of the Kindle Scribe and is accompanied by the Premium Pen done up in a shade of Tungsten. You can write directly on e-books and documents. The pen offers a very natural writing experience that mimics real pen and paper. The pen offers a very premium feel and comes with an integrated shortcut button and an eraser.
Among the biggest attractions of the Scribe is the Active Canvas feature, which creates space as you continue with your writings. The margins will expand or collapse to accommodate your notes automatically. Other smart AI features the new Scribe supports include creating summaries of your notes. You can set the tone or adjust the length of your notes. All of this will help refine your writing, which you can also easily share with others.
The new Scribe otherwise comes with a 10.2-inch 300 PPI e-ink display. The display is surrounded on three sides by bezels done up in white, which matches the white background of the display. This makes the display seem like it extends all the way to the edges. The Kindle Scribe happens to be the largest of all Kindle devices currently available. It also comes with the largest battery. Unfortunately, it is also the one that sells the least. The latter bit should explain why the Scribe is offered at a discount so frequently.
