E Ink Revolution: MQdisplay 4b Transforms Pharma Lab Management

We have already seen widespread usage of E Ink displays in the healthcare sector. Here is another one – the MQdisplay 4b featuring an E Ink display, which is targeted at the pharma companies. Developed by MachineQ, the new E Ink-based device, as TheFastMode stated, can be considered an extension of its lab asset management solution. The new device is designed to offer a digital solution to the routine processes in the life sciences sector that have so far been paper-based.

That includes routine jobs like ‘tracking, managing, and displaying critical machine data’ that so far required direct human intervention. With an automated machine-based process, there is no longer a need to keep a manual record of the updates on paper tags. This has vastly eased the data management aspect, which in turn has led to a more efficient system where all data gets updated in real time.

The 4.2-inch E Ink tri-color display ensures excellent visibility while being very soothing to the eyes. The device also features interactive push buttons while exhibiting a lot of flexibility with its mounting options. Further, the LoRaWAN-enabled device also offers excellent battery life, something that is typical of E Ink displays. That is taken to new heights, what with the MQdisplay 4b capable of running operation for up to 5 years on a single charge.

  1. I’m really loving the theme/design of your site. Do you ever run into any web browser compatibility problems? A number of my blog readers have complained about my blog not operating correctly in Explorer but looks great in Firefox. Do you have any ideas to help fix this problem?
