Dasung Paperlike Revolutionary Series E Ink Monitors to Become Mac Compatible Soon

Dasung has stated they are working on a solution to let their Paperlike Revolutionary series of E Ink monitors connect seamlessly with Mac devices, a Reddit post on this revealed. It isn’t that the Dasung E Ink Revolutionary series of E Ink monitors isn’t compatible with macOS, but that often is via the use of third-party software and drivers. This made things a bit cumbersome for Mac users.

The company made the above revelation via its official social media accounts, such as Facebook and X (previously Twitter). As is evident, no specific timelines are provided, which means there is no clarity about how long that will take. The Dasung Paperlike E-Ink monitors generally offer seamless connectivity with devices running Windows and Android operating systems.

Usually, such connectivity is established via USB-C or HDMI. This way, anything that is shown on the connected device gets reflected on the E Ink monitor as well. Users can switch to the E Ink monitor for tasks such as when they need to read a lot of text or edit documents and such. This makes things very safe for their eyes, more so when their work requires staring at a computer display for long hours.

So, that’s some news for Mac owners to rejoice.
